Colors out front .. Starting to become scarce as are the butterflies .. Only saw the Skipper on the False Sunflower .. There was a Painted Lady who didn't remain for her photo-session .. while this computer was at Doc B's .. photos were taken here and next door .. it was as though I was missing something .. yes, the habit of going to my computer .. I don't tend to miss something .. until I can't have it .. . THEN - I can think of 100's of reason why I really do need it .. when my car was in the shop .. could think of all these places I really needed to go .. Mr C said, "drive my car.." I drove around the block .. gave him the keys back .. "what's wrong?" asked Mr C .. me - it is too low ( I have a CR-V ) that is up higher .. and the brake - you have to have your foot on the brake to start the car ! if you have a Mazda, you know what I mean .. that is weird .. at least to me, so I walked around the yard .. searching for photos .. Found these Swallowtails .. Dark one next door and the Yellow in our garden .. we've had an abundance of Skippers .. and the Zinnias are still bloomin' ! but, all is good .. got some needed things off the external hard drive .. helps very much .. and -- thank you PJ for the Adobe link :) © All Rights Reserved

Have these ' cupcake ' Zinnias - Thought that chocolate icing would be really nice - But - But - It seems to be gone ~ Now what do I do ? © All Rights Reserved

Colors and shapes - Layers of petals - Zinnias can look like delicate unfolding works of art - Or - WHAM .. I'm Here! Skippers pick different ones or camp out on a favorite - Balance can be tricky - But, really guys - Did you not think I'd be back ? On the Left side is Day 1 - On the Right side is Day 2 - For both Zinnias - Seeds were a gift last year which (since I am such a careful gardener) - I scattered wherever they wanted to go - Wishing them safe travels and don't become somebody's supper - Since I know so much (right) about gardening - I saved seeds from the Zinnias as they were done - Guess how surprised I was when they began sprouting this year - (and i still had the Zinnia seed stash !) (y'all really don't have to continue laughing) Knew the False Sunflowers and Cosmos were self-seeders - A person just can't know everything - Why do you think I tell them.- "Bloom where you are planted (or planted yourself)" ? Am not a baby-sitter of any plants - That sage advice was given to me many moons ago when we bought our first home in Florida - My neighbor had a wonderful yard, so I went over to get some tips from him - "Either they grow - Or they do not -" That advice has remained with me through many plant adventures - So, Dear Soul, who gifted me with more Zinnia seeds - They have a good home - Down the Road at Not My Garden - (can see her sighing right now) But, all is good - Trust me - © All Rights Reserved
