over this street .. created by large, old Camphor trees.. planted years & years ago lining this street .. as well as an adjoining one .. this always takes my breath away ! ^SOOC ©SD All Rights Reserved

- this citrus tree - probably 50 yrs old - was part of a grove many years ago - most homes on my street have citrus trees - some new one have been added..replacing those that die - but, this oldtimer still yields thin skinned oranges - juicy & heavenly tasting - even though she is worn by the elements around her - there is a good size crop of small green orbs - oranges to be - this Tree Has Good Bones ! ..cropped for size ..signed This YouTube video is a jam session of The Revelator Band; not a profession vid, but the music is something that feels right ! 4 notes top left - ( last photo in 2013 with the Gals climbing this magnificent tree ) continues the healing process .. a Camphor, mighty, strong, yet vulnerable.. to man.. story is below ... _____________________________________ hit by a car, camphor tree had bark skinned back to where sap was oozing.. all because some jerk wasn't paying attention to driving... this tree is facing my home.. way in from the street.
