Duranta repens (Sweet Memories) .. perhaps because it is purple ! It has no smell like mint or catnip .. but Rascal Catt Esq, Yard Supervisor .. brushes against this each time he goes by .. he has even broken a couple of branches.. maybe it is a Yard Supervisor attracting plant ... according to the Floridata website, this does have a light fragrance .. related to the Verbena family, will need pruning after flowering is complete .. © All rights reserved
