Received (the email below) from a friend just minutes ago -- "This is too weird to not share. You won’t believe what’s going on here at the office. XYZ Co. is getting ready to do some roofing where my office is located, now - on the top floor. They’ve been unloading the materials all afternoon right over us. The crashing and banging overhead is so hard and so loud that the light fixtures and fire sprinkler heads are falling out of the ceiling and we are being showered with grit shaken loose from the ceiling tiles, along with bits of the ceiling tiles, themselves. We’re sneezing and coughing, and my contacts are filled with dust. Sometimes it feels like the workers and their stuff are gonna fall right through the roof and land on my desk. You should see us all here - my boss went down to the warehouse and brought back hard hats for us all to wear. Such a fashion statement I am making today! I must be a sight, in my business casual outfit, full makeup and girly jewelry, typing away at my keyboard, in a hard hat. I am NOT taking the hard hat off until it’s time to leave, either – such helmet hair I will have! " © All rights reserved (this is the only hard hat available at home for a photo- it is mine used ages ago for a very different purpose) * told my friend she could take hers home and at least bring it up to her Code of Dress .. Purple! She emailed me back and said she just might take it home and fix it...
