.. that is a 'pseudo-owl' a top the power line pole .. to discourage ospreys from making a nest .. there are poles nearby with platforms for the ospreys to build nests .. have seen the orange cones on a pole for this purpose, but not a 'owl' ! .. job security for someone ? © All rights reserved

.. being a passenger has a plus side .. getting this Public Notice sign on side of road .. guess if you want to read it, pull off the shoulder of the road .. signs.. a puzzlement
