prepping mustard greens for New Year's Day Dinner..

is still rung every year to welcome in the New Year.. my friend .. (and her English Mum before her) .. would ring it... out in the front yard .. to welcome the New Year .. yes .. it is quite loud! On the bell are Matthew, Mark, Luke and John with beautiful designs .. (thanks for the ID) thought it was a seed pod which formed after a night blooming cereus, but someone said it was a dragon fruit. Have seen dragon fruit in grocery stores.. this is more round shape than those. Any stab at an ID would be appreciated. © All rights reserved
