Fabulous Fluff on the Feline Freeway ..

07 Oct 2010 306
.. neighnborhood feline wanders in & out sun/shadows along the Feline Freeway - which runs through our backyard .. the Feline Freeway isn't like anything the humans use as this isn't any boring strip of concrete or asphalt .. oh, no ! There are shrubs, flowers, mushrooms, mulch, trees, grass - but the favorite parts are the sun and shadows .. creating a 'now you see me - now you don't' .. all felines need such a Freeway as they show us - -- Stop! Smell the flowers and enjoy where you are ... right Now! © All rights reserved

a blue plumbago.. From Floridata: "Plumbago is an evergreen shrub with whip-like semiwoody stems that form a loose, rounded mound 3-10 ft high with a similar spread. Plumbago can be pruned to grow like a vine and scramble over supports, or pruned into a more compact mounded shrub, or left to sprawl with its long, gracefully arching branches. The leaves are a fresh, light yellowish green color. The sky blue flowers are 1 inch long tubes. The flowers are in rounded terminal clusters and look quite a bit like phlox flowers. Plumbago blooms all year long except for the coldest winter months. A popular ornamental in subtropical gardens in Florida, it requires little water, fitting in with a Florida Friendly landscaped yard. "
