.. two different ones .. family feeding beside the road .. watching out for cars .. there is another member out of the photos .. on watch perhaps .. every so often, he would make a noise .. possibly alerting the ones feeding to oncoming cars ? .. other SHC family is the one next to offices .. who saw a squirrel and followed it .. very curious about that thing with 4 legs and no feathers .. a wonderful Sandhill Crane experience .. there is nothing like seeing a SHC ! college done in: www.picmonkey.com © All Rights Reserved

for the Mute swans .. the cob and pen swim in circles around each other .. pausing to dip their long necks in the lake .. bringing them back up in a beautiful arch .. then, fluff the feathers across their backs more .. continue the courtship swim .. haven't seen one in many months.. had to be so patient... this one flitted from shrub to shrub.. since it moved faster than I.. just stayed put and waited for it to return.. (c) All Rights Reserved

took a detour.. from my usual way... and this beauty welcomed my eyes.. have no idea how many rooms.. a lot.. at least two stories.. maybe a third.. it is fascinating.. somehow, I must see more.. it takes my breath away..

taken from my driveway, the very large camphor tree next door, welcomes children to climb... have 'pretend' games & just have fun ! the branch at bottom left goes over the street.. there was a fellow who used to trim it.. he was a "tree artist".. would walk all around the tree.. then go down the street & look back before making any decisions to trim.. that tree needs him.. we just don't know where he moved ! © All rights reserved

the process begins.. it's rainy.. getting a little dark.. both these buds will probably open tonight (Thursday).. will go out later after dark to see any changes.. last year I was surprised with the flowers.. this year, am so looking forward to the beaufiful saucer-size, fragrant flowers.. this is an on-going saga of the Night Blooming Cereus Cactus .. in my jungle !!!!
