Thunbergia erecta ( Clockvine ) -
it is pouring ...
must re-group, re-hash (whatever) ..
plans are not plans now...
but, this makes me feel good to see this beauty, now soaked in what I call 'Liquid Sunshine' ..

King's Mantle ..
Thunbergia erecta ..
Clockvine ..
all mean the same ..
a perennial shrub with flowers to attract bees ..
it will grow in spite of how much it is pruned ..
in spite of how badly frozen back it was ..
sturdy ..
just trim to keep in check ..
it does like to 'go looking' all over !

This shrub ( Thunbergia erecta ) had to be pruned at least half way to the ground.. the frost really did it in .. or so I thought!
But, no, it is back; full of trumpet-shape blooms ready to great a bumble bee or a butterfly!
