a cereus bud, one partially open and the main one just about fully open.. the large cactus to the left of the flowers are what they grow on.. took about 4-5 yrs before anything happened. But now... wow! beauty of a Night Blooming Cereus .. (c) All Rights Reserved

is a stunnig cereus bloom... before opening into a saucer-size flower...

in watching these cereus go from a bud (upper left corner) to the showy blooms which are softly fragrant... No enhancement.. what you see is what I captured! ©SD All Rights Reserved

These begin as rather odd, unusual (to me) plants that end in a most magnificent bloom! Saucer-sized blooms which are sweetly fragrant, if cross-pollinated become Dragon Fruit. Magnificent nature !!!
