- downtown fire This used to be a restaurant. Fire has destroyed it. Early 15 Jan 2014 (about 5am), a fire engulfed this popular spot. Don't recall how many Fire Departments responded .. but today when I drove by to see this, even with car windows up - the burned odor was overwhelming. Being a small town, many residents know the owner and his family. A fund has already been started at a local bank. It will be quite some time before this is fixed, but the owner (having been in business 20yrs) seems like he is going to re-build.
