Here's the salt print from that paper negative. Tried to use digi-cam instead of my scanner and it did not work very well, the colors still are not right even after using grey card to adjust the white balance. But anyway, this gives something of an idea! Printed 11 Nov 2014 Lana Aquarelle paper, gold toned. Paper is 7.5 x 11 inches.

I made this paper negative yesterday, it is very high contrast because it will be used to make a salt print.

And we need it! Over at APUG there is a fun activity called the Monthly Shooting Assignment . The theme now is cheap camera challenge so I made this with one of my coffee can pinhole cameras. 30 minute exposure in light rain as the sun set.

I just discovered the path along this creek a few weeks ago, and it's only about 15 minutes from my house. It's wonderful, and I've been going there a lot. Several miles of peaceful trail along the creek. My dog Mango loves it too, of course. Pinhole paper negative, 5 minutes with my Goat Rock Cam

First picture from my new " Red Rooster Cam ". "Red Rooster" is a kind of coffee from a local Sonoma County coffee roaster. This is a new sibling for my " Goat Rock Cam "! I guessed 4 minutes for this one.

Made with my Goat Rock Cam which is a simple coffee can pinhole camera. 5x7 paper negative, 9 minutes. It was windy and there was a big willow branch swinging back and forth over the water on the right!
