After failing to find the new Leola 115/41.6kV substation, I made a quick detour to get a picture of the substation on the north edge of town once I realized the distribution here is 7200 delta! Sadly, MDU was well underway with preparations to convert the distribution system to 12.5kV Y, served from a new substation south of town. The substation today: maps.app.goo.gl/fwBz2KubX6sXP9hz7

I wasn't sure what I was looking at, but it seems MDU replaced the pole and sawed up the arm from the old one without bothering to unlink the suspensions or untie the insulators. It now looks like that the line going off to the left will be removed later.
