This year we commemorate the 78th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising . Since he had passed it became my duty to do it. The flag will be there till October 2. That's how long the Uprising lasted. Today we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its Independence after 123 years of foreign oppression. So if today evening you see white and red illuminations around the world, they will be just for that.
