This letter contained 51 AO3400 MOSFET transistors. Shipping time was only 10 days, which is quite exceptional. Quicker than snail-mail from the USA.

So it took 4 full weeks from the US to Germany this time. Including customs delays. I got a letter from German postal service. They couldn't find the customs papers (invoice) and therefore forwarded the letter to my local customs office. Of course the invoice was included in a pouch labeled "CUSTOMS PAPERS ENCLOSED". Somebody simply can't read it seems.

Mysterious sticker on a letter. It's obviously from "Japan Post", but what does it say? Is it "Anybody who can't read this is an ..."?

To whom it may concern: My 'Half-Ohm' was in this letter. If memory serves me right, shipping time from Estonia for a small letter was pretty quick.

That was quick, very commendable indeed. But what about the status? Delivered and signed by ME?? I was at home and I can't remember having heard the doorbell at the time stated in the tracking report. Very odd. Later: the express envelope was small enough to fit into my mailbox and it was 'dumped' there. I don't know if that is 100% according to the rules, but I can live with it. Better than having to make them attempt a 2nd delivery or me driving to some remote pickup location.

The average speed of that letter was about 5 mph. Truly excellent. Today is the first of January 2013 - no letter so far. Posted: Dec. 5th 2012 Received: Jan. 5th 2013 A new speed record!

I wonder what they did. Probably made sure it is non-explosive and has 0% cocaine in it.

This is called air-mail. Why does it take 14 days then? I bet it is my friends at the customs office AGAIN...
