The solder job is not too brilliant. Too much insulation for a proper crimp. But it works. The shrinking tube helps too. I should like to find out where to get these clips. I have a feeling I might need more...

I'm sure there are at least 10 reasons for subjecting me to an 'instant stoning', but the standard ground clip cables are way too short. Now I have a proper clip and can even plug it directly into 0.1-in headers. BTW: Jehovah!

This is the always too short cable of the probe's ground clip. It is almost impossible to solder as the insulation starts to disintegrate at 120°C.

No metal parts except the legs. I've already managed to kill 2 of these MOSFETs (IRLIZ34N). One of them died due to overheating. Now I'll switch to one that comes in the standard TO-220 package, which has better heat transfer (IRL3803).
