These advertising booths were part of the new town in the 1950s and are very distinctive. Sadly, they are falling apart and suffering from lack of love. I'm guessing the council is waiting until they are unrepairable. The aged faux-analogue look seemed to suit the subject, if slightly ruined by the modern cars in the background. The Shredded Wheat factory in Welwyn Garden City has been an iconic landmark for many years. Despite many attempts to save it, demolition is now underway and the site is destined to become a housing estate. It was a foul, wet day hence the flat light and lack of any interest in the sky.
