Kris Lockyear's photos with the keyword: weepers

Fawsley church in Northamptonshire is an absolute jewel. One of the monuments is a wonderful chest tomb with two effigies and these wonderful images of the four daughters of Sir Richard Knightley shown on the North side of his tomb. One of them married into the neighbouring Spencer family.

These figures represent the six sons of Sir Humphrey and Elizabeth Bradbourne, two of whom went into the church, and their three children who died young shown in red shrouds. Their four daughters were represented on the other side of the tomb.
