An interesting memorial to several generations of Goodwins erected by Edmund Goodwin. Alice Lomas is interesting in that she died in Sydney in 1858. Seen in Hartington church, Derbyshire.
Haddon Hall dining room

The title says it all, I think. Haddon Hall is a stately home in Derbyshire, near Bakewell. As the family did not use the hall for the majority of the 18th and 19th centuries it avoided modernisation, and as a result has many early features surviving such as the panelling and painted ceiling in this room.

Arbor Low is a henge in Derbyshire with a stone circle inside. All the stones have been tipped over, probably deliberately.

The grounds of Chatsworth House in Derbyshire are full of modern art. Most of it isn't my cup of tea, but Tear, by Richard Hudson, lent itself to being photographed.

Detail of the tomb of Penelope Boothby (1785--1791) in St Oswald's church, Ashbourne, Derbyshire. Carved by Thomas Banks. Penelope was said to speak four languages before she died at the age of six.
