Fawsley church in Northamptonshire is an absolute jewel. One of the monuments is a wonderful chest tomb with two effigies. This is a detail of Jane Skennard, Sir Richard Knightley's wife. He left her all his sheep.

Fawsley church in Northamptonshire is an absolute jewel. One of the monuments is a wonderful chest tomb with two effigies. A "squint" can be seen to right to allow people in the side chapel to see the high altar.

Fawsley church in Northamptonshire is an absolute jewel. One of the monuments is a wonderful chest tomb with two effigies and these wonderful images of the four daughters of Sir Richard Knightley shown on the North side of his tomb. One of them married into the neighbouring Spencer family.
