I think this is tomb 49 at Carrowmore. This amazing prehistoric site is well worth a visit if you are ever in the area. Pentax K-3, SMC Pentax DA* 50-135mm f/2.8 lens.

Created from 16 images shot using a Pentax K-3 and a SMC Pentax FA 31mm Ltd lens. The view is from one edge of the Carrowmore visitor area overlooking yet more passage tombs. The hill to the right is Knocknarea which has the largest tomb on its top just visible as a small "pimple".

Arbor Low is the largest henge in the Peak District. All the stones now lie flat, but it is impressive none-the-less with spectacular views. Pentax LX, Ilford Delta 100, SMC Pentax 'K' 17mm fisheye lens.

Nine maidens

The nine maidens stone circle is on Stanton Moor in Derbyshire, not far from Bakewell. There are actually ten stones, not nine. The name comes from a legend that nine maidens were turned to stone for dancing on the sabbath. It is now a scheduled ancient monument.
