Some of the dried out grasses on a sand dune on the sea front in Exmouth, Devon. There's a slightly different view in the PiP, if you have time to look.

These are in my front garden in a large pot. This was taken earlier today in some sunshine between showers.

I was collecting the seeds from my Nigella (Love in a Mist) seed heads this morning and it seemed like a good idea to photograph them as well. Taken indoors in natural window light with a sheet of yellow card as a background.

Spotted on a grass verge in Southsea.

These Sicilian Honey Garlic flowers have now gone to seed...........and I think they just as beautiful as when they were flowering. The earlier photo I took is at the link below for comparison if you feel up to it: www.ipernity.com/doc/keithburton/52497542

The last two remaining seed heads on a dandelion. Taken indoors in natural light with a piece of coloured as a background. I found this growing wild just the other side of my garden fence last September...........I don't remember seeing any flowers on it, but I did notice these seed heads, which looked really lovely in the sunshine. I'm pretty sure it's called Hemp Agrimony (Eupatorium cannabinum), which is a member of the Asteraceae family. Unless you know any different..................?

These seed heads caught my eye because of the lovely light on them. I have a large sycamore tree in my garden but the seeds heads are not this developed. This was taken in the Hilsea Lines, Portsmouth.

Taken in my garden. The flowers have nearly all finished and they have now formed seed heads moving back to the upright position to harden off. Clever innit? That beautiful bokeh is out-of-focus Feverfew plants.
