Keith Burton's photos with the keyword: Crocosmia

I have a small clump of these beautiful flowers in my garden, but they have been almost completely flattened by the recent wind and heavy rain, so I rescued this flowerhead. I then photographed it outdoors using my lawn as a backdrop and added a touch of bokeh and the vignette in post processing.

Taken in my garden using a piece of black card to hide the untidy background. I staked this stem to prevent it moving and used a tripod for the shot. I then tidied up the black background in post processing. No Crocosmia were harmed in taking this photo.
