The Sunday Challenge (6 September `15) "A BEGINNING" This is not a challenge to find something from the archives, it's about gittin' out there and trying something you may not be comfortable with. That's the whole name of this game.. The Sunday Challenge. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dieses Poster habe ich an einer Tür an der Friedrichstraße, mitten in Berlin, entdeckt. Es ist schon 5 Jahre alt, vom Mai 2010. Das habe ich aber erst zu Hause am Computer bemerkt. Ich dachte, es würde um die aktuelle Flüchtlingssituation gehen. Nein, das Problem ist schon viel älter, schon viel länger ungelöst. Seit Jahren sterben Menschen auf dem Mittelmeer. Und Europa schaut zu. Neu ist, daß die "Festung Europa" nun auf dem Landweg erobert wird. Neuerdings auch zu Fuß. Solche Bilder kennen wir nur von 1945. Jetzt 70 Jahre später wiederholt sich alles. Damals kamen 12 Millionen Vertriebene nach Deutschland. Sie hatten nicht unwesentlich Anteil am Aufschwung der deutschen Wirtschaft in den 50er/60er Jahren. Dieses Jahr rechnet Deutschland mit 800.000 Flüchtlingen, mit zu erwartendem Familien-Nachzug werden voraussichtlich 1,2 Millionen Menschen in Deutschland ankommen. Und einen Neubeginn erhoffen. Deutschland wird sich verändern. Stellen wir uns darauf ein. Es ist ein Anfang - A BEGINNING.
