Euch allen einen guten Einstieg in die Vorweihnachtszeit und heute einen schönen 1. Advent. Dankeschön für Eure freundlichen Besuche, Sternchen, Kommentare und Gruppeneinladungen in den zurückliegenden Tagen. Hier sind gerade 0 Grad, Schnee ist angekündigt. Die >80 Weihnachtsmärkte in Berlin sind eine Herausforderung der besonderen Art. Ich werde mich also beeilen, mein kleines Herbstalbum zum Abschluß zu bringen, 1 oder 2 Sachen kommen noch .... und dann .... Themenwechsel !

.... das war's dann; mit den Herbstimpressionen für 2017. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Euch Alle für das überaus wohlwollende Feedback zu dieser kleinen Herbstserie. Besonderer Dank aber den Machern von Macro Mondays 2.0 . Eines der dortigen Montags-Themen hat mich überhaupt erst auf die Idee zu meinem Herbst-Album gebracht.

... geschenkt bekam ich den Stengel (mit vollständig geschlossenen Knospen) als Amaryllis. Jetzt, wo die 1. Knospe aufgegangen ist, hab ich Zweifel: gibt's überhaupt derart gefüllte Amaryllis ? Oder ist es eine Christrose, und der Blumenhändler war 'ne Aushilfskraft ??

Saturday Self-Challenge (11 nov 2017): Out of focus (unfocused abstract photography) ... here: a couple, walking in autumnal park on a sunny afternoon. She in a red coat, he in something dark blue. In reality there were strong colors, shades and contrasts. Not so on photo. Just I read Sami's hint: The trick is to enhance the contrast and colors on photo editor. Out of focus images often comes out rather desaturated and bleak. ... so now I edited my original result by Snapseed, the smartphone-software (am not at home - no computer available).

Saturday Self Challenge (October, 28, 2017) ... Saturday marks the one-year anniversary of SSC! So, in light of that fact, I thought we should do something special to commemorate the occasion. Since our very first challenge was autumn/northern hemisphere, spring/southern hemisphere, that will be our topic. But there's a twist; I want you to turn your photo into a card for the occasion. Use text on the image to create a lovely card for the group! This was a very difficult challenge ! During the last days I took hundreds of autumn shots. I tried a lot and I failed a lot (f.e.s. PiP !). Always the text was the problem - it was too much of everything: colors, patterns, content of the text ..... So in the end I bring something absolut different .... What is the MEANING of this anniversary ? IP is still alive. SSC is back. We have hope for a good future .... So I show a part of the facade of our new FUTURIUM, the "House of future". In front of this outstanding building they planted some small trees. May the trees grow. And IP too. To give a home for SSC, now and in future.
