I was bored. It's the middle of winter and it's freezing outside, there's snow on the ground and it was sleeting last night when I made this. I only made it because I wanted something different. It's from an old recipe I've had for ages. It was originally called "Hungry Jack Beef And Bean Roundup," but I changed it. The store didn't have any "Hungry Jack" bisuits in a can, so I got some other kind. You cut the canned biscuits in half and line them around the edge of a baking pan. Then you're supposed to mix hamburger and baked beans together for the middle and top it all off with shredded cheese. I simply made a pot of chili and used that for the middle because I don't like baked beans. I topped it with shredded cheese and then baked it like you see here. It's an interesting dish to look at.

These are some Cheddar Bay biscuits I had at Red Lobster. Taken on February 22nd, 2013, with my Sony Alpha a230 DSLR. I liked them so much I found a copycat recipe and now make them at home. You can see what they look like below.

I was going through some of my food pictures from last year and they made me hungry. So, at 2 a.m. this morning I made these Cheese Garlic Biscuits. They have shredded cheddar cheese inside and are brushed with butter that has garlic, parsley and Italian seasoning when they first come out of the oven. They're actually a copycat recipe that replicates the biscuits that Red Lobster restaurants serve with their dinners. They are very tasty hot and right out of the oven. And I can attest that the copycat recipe is tasty, too!

Who doesn't like these little smokey links wrapped in biscuits? This is a batch I made back in 2012. I take them to a lot of functions I attend - they're easy to eat and not messy. Plus, both kids and adults like them.
