My only radio @ 8/2013. I bought this in 1985 when I was first licenced, it was the latest and greatest. Seen here are the main controls. The PTT, frequency offset, TX power switch and 1.75KHz tone switch are on the side. The frequency shown is 146.675MHz.

My only radio @ 8/2013. Seen here in its portable setup. It uses 6 NiMh AA rechargeable cells and has a VHF Hiband rubber ducky antenna. The similar original antenna was sold to an operator in dire need more than 20 years ago.

My only radio @ 8/2013, a Belcom LS-202E. I bought this in 1985 when I was first licenced, it was the latest and greatest then. Seen here in its usual home setup. It's running on 11.5VDC from a PC power supply and connected to a rooftop mounted home made ground plane antenna. The battery tray is partly visible behind the power plug. See www.ipernity.com/doc/grahamh/24028051/in/album/464585 for more info on PS.
