Two CLPs hauling a Sydney - Alice Springs Ghan near Leura. This run had a mention in 'Railway Digest' about a carriage in its consist. Can anyone help with the info please? Sometime in 1994.

A souvenir envelope organised by the Alice Springs Stamp Club to celebrate the 50th anniversary run of the Commonwealth Railway's Ghan Train. I bought a few of these on the train as it approached Alice Springs. Dept Pt Augusta on std gauge on Monday early afternoon 2ish, around midnight transfer to the 3'6" gauge train at Maree (gauge transfers, a great Australian tradition) and arrive 3-4 hours late on the Wednesday morning 11ish.
