Golden light on the beach at Burnham on sea and in the foreground the end of a small channel dug out by some energetic young beach visitors. Captured early evening at Burnham on sea, Somerset. The good weather brought people to the beach to enjoy a stroll or a little beach fun. Some creative visitor to the beach has created a channel, or groove, all the way down to the water's edge. As this is Bridgwater Bay, on the Bristol Channel, it is effectively 'channel to channel'. I have included a PiP from later on in the evening showing a dog having fun on the beach. Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset and there is snow on the hills in the distance. This is the point where the River Brue meets the River Parrett, forming part of Bridgwater Bay. There was no water by the jetty and this lone boat was left high and dry and seemed to me to be stuck in the mud.
