Diesen Schmetterling, der tagsüber an einem Getreidefeld vorbei flatterte, hielt ich auf die Entfernung für einen Baumweißling. Bei näherer Betrachtung entpuppte er sich als ein Spanner und zwar als Schwarzader-Spanner oder Hartheu-Spanner (Siona lineata) . Es handelt sich um einen eigentlich nicht besonders seltenen Spanner (also einen Nachtfalter), der aber tagaktiv ist und wegen seiner Größe und Flügeladerung mit dem Baumweißling verwechselt werden kann. Die Raupen ernähren sich von einer Vielzahl von Wildkräutern. On closer inspection, it turned out to be a moth, namely a black vein moth (Siona lineata) . This is actually not a particularly rare moth (i.e. a nocturnal moth), but it is day-active and can be confused with the tree white butterfly because of its size and wing veining.
