Dieses eigenartige Insekt, nämlich den Schmetterlingshaft (Libelloides longicornis) , fand ich im diesjährigen Sommer in einem Naturschutzgebiet bei Karlstadt am Main in der Nähe von Würzburg (Deutschland). Die Schmetterlingshafte sind keine Schmetterlinge, sondern gehören (wie auch die Florfliege) zur Gruppe der Netzflügler. Sie werden 4 bis 6 cm groß. Laut Wikipedia findet man sie in Mitteleuropa nur sehr selten, bevorzugt in der Nähe von Geröllfeldern. In Deutschland kommen sie gelegentlich um den Kaiserstuhl und Würzburg vor. They are classified as "highly endangered" on the Red List of endangered species in Germany.
