Bei einer Wanderung durch das Tal des Bächleins Schandtauber in der Nähe von Rothenburg ob der Tauber entdeckte ich dieses seltsame Gebäude mit dem auffälligen Kamin. Es ist die ehemalige Hammerschmiede , die im 17. Jahrhundert erbaut wurde und bis Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts in Betrieb war. Sie diente der Herstellung von Schaufeln, Sensenblättern, Pflugscharen u.s.w. mittels Wasserkraft. Seit 1920 dient sie nur noch zu Wohnzwecken. Das PiP1+2 zeigt ein Schild, das dort aufgestellt war, und das die Geschichte dieser Hammermühle erläutert. Zu sehen ist ein Bach in der Nähe des Restaurants Ribeiro Frio. Die Stimmung kommt durch Spiegelungen und Blau- und Grünalgen zustande.
