Dieses schön aufgeplusterte Männchen einer Kohlmeise (Parus major) beobachtete ich an einem Waldrand. Gut zu sehen ist auch die "schwarze Krawatte", die vom Hals- bis zum Bauchbereich verläuft - ein Erkennungsmerkmal der Kohlmeisen. You can also see the "black tie" running from the neck to the belly - a distinctive feature of great tits. The males of the great tits have a more pronounced tie and clearly more blue in the head and tie markings than the females.

Im Bild ist eine Kohlmeise in einem Eichen-Mischwald zu sehen, die gerade auf Futtersuche ist. Bei den relativ hohen Temperaturen hat sie noch genug Chancen auf diesem morschen Baumstumpf Insekten zu finden. Wie man sieht reicht wegen der großen Fluchtdistanz ein 210er Tele-Objektiv gerade eben aus, um ein befriedigendes Bild zu erzielen. Trotzdem habe ich mich über das Bild gefreut, weil es ein schönes Gegenlicht-Bokeh aufweist.
