This littel wren seems to be using this hollowed tree trunk as a nest site. We didn't get close but she entered through the base somewhere, and popped up on the top :)

These are really small, maybe 2mm long. I finally got one to be still long enough to let me photograph them, and now can't find an ID. They look a lot like the 'froghoppers' but seem to fly more then any jumping. As usual any help much appreciated :)

I just love these!! This bunch are wild in Celandine Meadow area, but I've planted some from seed this year in the garden. This year I've decided to just go mad with seeds of all sorts, fling them all over and let it go. Hopefully to bring in the bugs and wildlife, at the advice of Shastajak, I'm going to treat them all mean ;)
