The Triumph Thunderbird is a British motorcycle that was introduced by Triumph in 1949 and produced in many forms until 1966.
The name was used three more times in more recent years for new and distinct Triumph models.

The Jaguar XK120 was manufactured by Jaguar between 1948 and 1954. It was the company's first sports car since the SS 100, which ceased production in 1940.
The standard of finish on this one was superb, but for some reason I only came away with this detail shot ... I can only assume that there were always too many people around it to get a clean shot of it overall.
Hopefully, I'll get another chance somewhere else to shoot it.

In trying to determine if this was a Roadmaster or a Super I read that the holes you see on the side of the bonnet are called VentiPorts. Apparently, the Roadmaster had four of these on each side whereas the Super only had three so without looking any further I was able to deduce it is indeed a Super.

Can't say much more about this one. I have no idea what model it is ... guess I should have paid more attention to the notes on his windscreen!
