Described as being 'blue' on the DVLA records, this rusting, ratty-lookin' splitty was only registered here in October 2003, but having been built in 1954 it's one of the oldest examples I've come across.

Parked up alongside 2066 UA from earlier was another Ford Pop, but this time it's a 1954 model.

Needed a bit of respite from all the stuff about ipernity problems so been getting all arty in the 'processing room' once again. This orb was produced from an image I sourced online from Custom Classic Trucks Magazine, the original of which I have posted in the Notes and the copyright for which obviously remains with them. I thought the original truck in the image was cool enough that it might make for an interesting orb so I did all the usual orb things, but threw in a few extra tweaks too for good measure. Perhaps best viewed large on black for maximum effect. The truck is a 1954 Chevy belonging to Guy Copeland. This 'creamy dreamy' MG from 1954 was ultra clean and certainly impressive, but I have to say I'd much rather have any one of the umpteen cool cars that America were producing around the same time. Maybe they're just too classy for me!

Another of my favourite cars is the Morris Minor. This is an interesting one as the records show it was built in 1954, but only first registered here in 1963.

The Triumph TR2 is a sports car that was produced by the Standard Motor Company in the United Kingdom, between 1953 and 1955.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Pops - standard or modified ... love them!

According to comments made against a similar photo of this car, but on another photo sharing site, it was at one time owned by Tom Riley who was a former editor of The Sunday People newspaper, here in UK.

Absolutely love this car ... one of the finest Cadillac's I've seen in recent years.
