The chap who owned this asked if I'd mind taking a few shots of it. So we took it out of the main showground to a quieter area. I did email him copies afterwards, but never heard back from him sadly. Just hope he was happy with the shots!

Once again, a bit of a messy background, but I felt it worthy of an upload. This was possibly the tidiest of all the Type 3 models on show. Interestingly, although manufactured in 1971 this one wasn't actually registered until 1973.

Not the best car shot I've ever taken and the background is a bit cluttered. However, I felt it worthy of an upload if only because you don't see that many of these old things knocking around these days.

Young surfer dude in the making spotted meticulously cleaning that old Type 3 ... no doubt thinking: " one day this will be mine "!

Two very lovely examples of VW design sat side by side, but with around 20 years between them. In the background a pale-yellow Type 3, much loved by the air-cooled fraternity, whilst in the foreground, a slightly modified Mk2 Golf representing the 'dark side' that is the water-cooled world.

It may be just a replica, but it works for me!

An Apal Porsche 356 Speedster replica and a MG Midget were amongst the cars soaking up the Spring sunshine!

Love these old Manta's, but not too keen on the colour of this one I'm afraid.
