I've always loved the lines of the Volvo P1800 ever since seeing the white one driven by Simon Templar, played by Roger Moore, in the TV series "The Saint". This particular one though is the much rarer 1800ES, a coupé station wagon with an all-glass tailgate, which was introduced in 1972. Only around 8,000 of these were actually produced.

I just love these old Volvo cars and this was, and remains, one of the best I've seen.

Volvo made some great looking cars in and around the Sixties, not least the P1800. People of a certain age will remember the white one (with licence plate ST1) driven by Simon Templar, played by Roger Moore, in the TV series "The Saint" I believe that car is still around and fully restored. Sadly, although this photo is less than 2 years old the DVLA now have no record of the car you see here.
