Just a garage door I spotted whilst out walking around Northallerton last week. I love the lines, shadows and even occasionally textures that these offer to anyone who cares to stop and look.

For this week's Sunday Challenge with the theme of doors . This is the entrance to St Michael & All Angels, which is located at North Otterington on the outskirts of Northallerton. Quite a pretty church, but spoiled a little by the way large areas of the surrounding cemetery are sectioned off with chicken wire fencing. Not sure if that's because of a fear of gravestones falling over say onto a child, which I know has become a health and safety issue at many old churches, or if there's some other reason. Sadly though, like many rural churches in this country it was closed and so I couldn't get in for a good look around. Taking a little break today from the cars and the bikes to upload some slightly more abstract stuff. Next up another colourful orb - yes these things are addictive! A square crop of the original shot as taken by me can be found in the Notes.

As I said, this was one of my favourite cars. So sharp, clean and well executed throughout ... stunning!

Not in as good a condition as the Porsche 944 from earlier or as dinky as the Mini Cooper, but still a rare and interesting find. As with most of the photos in this series it was spotted in Northallerton. This is the second of these motorhomes I've seen in town over the last few months, but this one is in much poorer condition than the last.

Still on the subject of non-VW campervans or auto-sleepers if you like spotted out and about. How about this Talbot from 1993? The thing that struck me most about this was the fact I used to have a set of wheel trims just like that back in the Nineties! This is image 1 of 2.

There were so many people around this that I couldn't get a clean shot and sadly when I went back later for another go it had gone!!
