The Ford Consul Classic is a mid-sized car that was built by Ford UK from 1961 to 1963. It was available in two or four door saloon form, in Standard or Deluxe versions, and with floor or column gearshift. The Ford Consul Capri, as seen here, was a 2-door coupé version of the Classic, and was available from 1961 through until 1964.

1963 Morris Oxford - 819 NOD

The Morris Oxford VI was produced from 1961 through until 1971 and over 208,000 of them were manufactured. This particular one was spotted in September, 2014 parked up in Northallerton, North Yorkshire. Sadly, I only had time to take a couple of snaps before it drove off, which was a shame as it looked in fabulous condition.

Well, sort of ... looks more like rain! Anyway, there's that lovely gold Chevette in the foreground and that beautiful old Ford Zodiac parked alongside.

1963 Humber Super Snipe - 651 EMO

The Humber Super Snipe is a car which was produced from 1938 to 1967 by the British-based Humber car company, part of the Rootes Group. I've read reports that the Series IV featured a Snipe bird badge on the grille, which would suggest that this is a Series IV. However, the same report said that it was introduced in 1964 whereas this car was manufactured in 1963, which would make it a Series III ... any Humber buffs out there able to say for definite either way?

The Zodiac was an upmarket version of the Zephyr 6, but differed quite considerably from it in various ways including the unique grille (four headlights instead of two), which you can see here.
