Official records say this 911 was only first registered in the UK in December, 2004. However, it was manufactured in 1971, so it must either be an import or a very accurate and tastefully put together replica. Apologies for the messy background on this one too, but like I said earlier this was what could best be described in terms of layout as a 'messy' show and so the end result looks like a real life action version of the Wacky Races .

I found this Eighties icon, finished in the classic Porsche colour of Guards Red, on the fringes of the showground. Just 75 Supersports were made for the UK. Each received the 930 Turbo's wide body (flared wheel arches), turbo rear spoiler (known lovingly as the whale tail), and 16" Fuchs alloys.

The standard of finish and attention to detail on this old ragtop, as seen at CumbriaVAG 2011 ,was exceptional.
