Not another red Ford Escort I hear you cry. Ah, but look closely, this is actually a Gartrac G6 Escort. The G6 was devised by Gartrac as a road going spin off to the successful G3 & G4 rally & rally cross cars. Most of the cars produced were rear wheel drive and fitted with a 2.8 V6 engine giving them phenomenol acceleration and performance. Only around thirty G6's were produced in total, although many copies were produced around this period. Whether or not this one is genuine I'm afraid I can't say, but it certainly looked the part! As you can see this V6 powered Panther was parked up next to the Cadillac from earlier. Given the similarity in the maroon paint I'd not be surprised to find out they're from the same household.
