Detail shot on the front end of that lovely little Mini pick-up.

Yes, another Mini, but this one's slightly different being a pick-up version. Would have loved to get a cleaner shot of this,but in the end I had to make do with this one.

Yet another tidy looking Mini - this time a 1989 model.

I had so much fun with this week's Sunday Challenge , which had the theme of selective colouring , that I ended up with several possibles. Here's one of those that didn't get used. This is a detail shot of a beautifully restored Morris Minor Traveller I spotted out and about last summer.

A different view of those two lovely Minors from earlier. In the foreground is NLM 259E, a Traveller from 1967 and behind that, TNN 855, a saloon from 1955.

Just love old cars, so many details to be captured ... and most of them in chrome!

Externally this Minor was quite stunning, thanks mainly to the shade of red they'd opted for. I liked the interior trimming too, but just felt the carpets let it down a little. Shame, because otherwise it was a gem!

Here's another that brought back memories of days gone by as a Minor pick-up was my first 'project' car.

I tend to not like it when cars have their bonnet up as I think it spoils the lines of any photo you take. However, once in a while you see a car that's so tidy that it's be a shame not to have the engine on show.

Slightly modified and showing a little bit of rust, this Moggie would surely fall into the daily driver category. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I liked it.

The Morris Minor is a British economy car that debuted at the Earls Court Motor Show, London, in 1948. Designed under the leadership of Alec Issigonis, more than 1.3 million were manufactured between 1948 and 1972. Initially available as a two-door saloon and tourer (convertible), the range was subsequently expanded to include a four-door saloon in 1950, a wood-framed estate (the Traveller) from 1952 and panel van and pick-up truck variants from 1953.
