I want these so bad! I don't even care that we have no counter space for displaying them. I'd throw a special party just to show them off. From the October issue of Sunset magazine.

Always remember to put on your good white shirt and expensive velvet Capris before getting out the paints. Also, work gloves and safety masks are unpatriotic. From the July issue of Popular Mechanics magazine.

"If you paste this booklet in the back of your favorite cook-book, or keep it in your recipe file, it will always be handy for ready reference in case something 'goes wrong' with the coffee, or you should change to another type of coffee-maker." But a cup of good coffee also requires flavor and aroma ..." It does? Who knew?

Okay, unlike nearly everything else posted here, I actually do own some of this stuff. But I don't own the trivet in the upper right hand corner. Now I won't rest until it's mine, but not to cook with. I want it for a wall hanging. From the November issue of Sunset magazine.

Each of these lovely serving pieces also comes with a matching lighter and ashtray. Except the chafing dish, because it's already lit and doubles as an ash receptacle after all the "Diable" is consumed. From Good Housekeeping magazine.
