I haven't updated in awhile because I've been building an illuminated brussels sprout centerpiece to decorate the new dining room table. You'd be amazed at how long it takes to get the wires connected juuuust right. ;)

Let's take a moment to appreciate that the illustrator really wanted their work to at least look more enticing than the photos, even though they failed. :/

Did people genuinely get excited at the prospect of Lent being over so they could, uh... "indulge" in this sort of thing again? From the April issue of Everywoman's magazine.

Menu: Chicken a la King Curry Buttered Waffles Broccoli Pecan-Lemon Butter Peach Snowball Can somebody go ahead and try that curried waffle thing and get back to me? I'm skeptical.

Food-wise, none of this is really doing it for me, but the "Corn Casserole" dish is pretty adorable.
