"Or perhaps you realize that the preparation of food is a lot more trouble than it should be. When you begin to look around for ways and means to make it easier, do you know which of the up-to-date devices save labor?"

Here we see some favorites by (counter clockwise from Eleven O'Clock) Mrs. O'Leary's Cow, the CEO of the Brach's Candy Co., Mister B Natural, Rufus T. Firefly... From the October issue of Everywoman's magazine.

"...There is no danger of your being misinformed, or frightened, or bullied by the authors of this book into a personal choice of drinks which your intelligence tells you is not wise..." However, you may develop an unwholesome fascination for run-on sentences.
