The Hub is a former church building located at the top end of the Royal Mile. It now serves as a public arts and events building.
The building is an example of Gothic Revival architecture and was constructed between 1842 and 1845. It was originally built as a meeting hall for the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. From 1929 the building was used as a church until the mid-1980s

The Royal Mile is the busiest tourist street in the Old Town.
