St Gwenog`s church is a medieval building dating back to the late fourteenth century, the tower being added some time after 1485. The interior has the original fifteenth-century barrel roof. On the graveyard is this copy of a chieftain warrior stone from the 5th century. It reads "Trenacatus son of Maglagnus".
