Mora de Rubielos is a small town (approx. 1600 inh.) about 60 km southeast of Teruel. Since 1978 the entire place has been a “Conjunto histórico-artístico”. In 1798, Carlos III granted D. Pedro Federico Dolz de Espejo y Pomar, Infanzón of Aragón and Perpetual Regidor of Teruel and Knight of the Order of Carlos III, the title of Count of Florida.
