Many years ago, I spent a couple of weeks in Lyon, trying to learn French with the support of a French Language School (Lyon Bleu). It was a pretty mediocre success, but I liked Lyon so much, that since then I do return, just to stroll the streets, watch the Rhone - and have a great dinner. Lyon has a population of more than 500.000. The Rue Victor-Hugo, seen on the early morning, is a pedestrian street in the 2nd arrondissement, It is one of the most known shopping areas of Lyon, connecting the Place Bellecour to the Place Carnot.
